About Simply Vague

This venture is like so many others, sitting around talking about how great it would be "if". Professional shopping, digging for the deals, finding the "BIG SCORE", all started as my sickness, therapy, and passion. I have had most of my family and friends laugh, roll their eyes, and I am sure think I was nuts, on a lot of my purchases. Over the years, decorating many houses, of different styles, I always seemed to make my treasures, and finds, "fit". I have turned many of those non-believers into fellow shopping partners. 
The greatest thing about starting "Simply Vague" is that I get to do it with my family. Who knew, that Andrea, my oldest would ever like what I like...but it was everywhere around her, I guess she couldn't help it. She has a much more artistic view about our purchases, and definitely her own taste. We see this as a big positive, for we should have something for everyone. It is so exciting to have her as my partner.

I have finally fulfilled a dream, to have an antique business. To actually do instead of just talk. I think how lucky I am everyday. But what warms my heart the most is that we are doing it as a family, together. I will never forget the night we spent trying to come up with the name for our business, it will be shared at many family functions for years to come.
